BWL FTL…
Another round of BWL, another night of no NW Mantle. Getting the NW Mantle is the only reason I am playing Warcraft right now, certainly is not because I am having fun. My enjoyment level with that game is almost zero for the time being. I really just want the expansion to come out. And the fact that I have 7 out of 8 pieces of my Tier 2 armor set is the only motivating factor for me showing up. Last night was another BWL attempt with no NW drop. The week before I decided to skip BWL and NW Mantle drops twice, them be the shits I guess. So anyway as the BC release comes closer and closer the likelihood that I will be breaking my NW set is more and more thus making me debating why I even show up for these silly things. Not to mention after the most recent patch we totally suck donkey balls.
With Blizzard making such mods like Decursive impossible now, The veil of excellence has been lifted, exposing many people has truly mediocre, which is just gasoline to a fire when you are looking for reasons to take a break.
And now as I reread all this I find it very funny. When I first started playing I remember thinking that when I would finally get 8/8 NW, that I would come all the time to help those below me get geared up. Well, it took a little longer than I would have liked, and frankly I dislike 3/4 of the people in the guild, so I feel no desire to actually help any of those people. I never thought I would think that way, then again I did not know most of the guild. But this really comes back to BC once again. If BC was not around the corner, and the fact that most gear will become obsolete, I would not have this feeling of futility as much. But it is and gear will be, so I have it.
