Joshua Bell is one of the world's greatest violinists. His instrument of choice is a multimillion-dollar Stradivarius. If he played it for spare change, incognito, outside a bustling Metro stop in Washington, would anyone notice?

I thought this article was pretty cool, but wished they would have taken it one step further. They should have expanded upon the idea and placed him in other locations. Perhaps the train station was a bad location, people are too focused on getting to work, not willing to pay attention to the music being played. How would Bell have faired if he had go to other locations at other times of the day. Maybe a more social setting where people are more relaxed. Or a more upscale setting were perhaps people would be more knowledgeable about his music? Or in different cities, would New York be any different than DC, or middle America vs the coasts, etc... If only...
