Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer…
I'm addicted to crap. I knew this movie would suck going into it, yet I still went into it. I don't know why, sometimes I just have a compulsion to view crap. And it's not like it's a cheap compulsion. At 10 bucks a pop, crappy movie viewing adds up after a while.
So as you can probably tell Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was not that good. Yes, I did enjoy myself on some level. Who wouldn't want to see the Fantastic Four doing their thing on the big screen? But then on a completely different level I weep. The Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer/Galactus is a great marvel story, and it's reduced to a steaming turd pile. I really wish I knew why the movie studios feel so compelled to completely change the greatest stories in comic book history. It’s not even like the Galactus plot line is that complex or based in shit loads of Fantastic Four lore.
But anyway, fun for kids, pleasant for parents, bad for adults, and horrible for fans.
