Man do I want a good sniper film. Snipers rule. So yeah, Shooter is just alright. It gets bonus points for being partly based in Philly and having Kate Mara in the cast. But the plot is way out there and uninteresting.

The five minute back story that they give actually sounded much more interesting than the actual movie plot. On the run in Africa, deserted by your own country, have to fight your way out, then seek revenge on those that deserted you and left you for dead. Much better than the political mumbo jumbo that we get here.

Oh how I want a good sniper film.
