Across the Universe…
I was disappointed by this film. It was such a cool concept, but ultimately fell a little too short. Telling a story with nothing but Beatles songs sounded like a cool idea, but they lost track of that.
You’re still telling a story at the end of the day. For parts they went away from the story to shoe horn in another Beatles song and cameo. This slowed everything down and pulls you out of the experience.
Maybe some else does something similar they will utilize other songs and make it more stream lined.
