ugh…
I woke up this morning and did not want to come to work. This
used to be a feeling that happened few and far between. Now it’s becoming an
almost weekly occurrence...
Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay…
I’m torn on this film. Walking out of it I was horribly disappointed. Nothing compared to the first film, they always went for the cheap laugh. However in retrospect and many discussions later, it had some funny parts. Just not in real time. Still there is nothing that hasn’t been done before. Wait for cable for this one, despite the memories.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall…
This film went from very little hype to huge ginormous hype. So did it live up to or exceed the hype? Yes to the former, no to the latter. Not the greatest comedy ever created, or the created by Judd Apatow, but funny nonetheless. Perhaps the biggest disappointment is that almost all of the trailer gags were cut from the film. No idea why, they all seemed very funny. Everything and one is very strong, the laughs are pretty steady including the last 20 minutes (which usually is dead time in recent comedies).
