Ring of Death Update…
My console shipped on 12/23. Finally got a tracking number from M$. Scheduled to be delivered on 1/5.
Update: Console was delivered early on 1/2. So far so good. Been playing a lot of NHL 09 and Gears of Wars 2.
Yet another reason Microsoft sucks…
Microsoft knew about another defect on it's Xbox 360 in which the system would scratch game discs. Even having engineers mock up potential fixes, but all of the fixes were either impractical (aka really really too expensive) or too expensive (reasonable, but M$ didn't want to spend). So the 360 went down for the count and I shipped it back to Microsoft. I'm setting the over/under that I get my 360 back before January 1st, 2009. Any takers? Thoughts?

Ring of death time...the sequel. My 360 just died this evening. Have to ship it back to Microsoft for repair. This will be my 3rd Xbox now...
